Text Box: ABOUT THE VALLEY OF THE SUN GARDENERS:
Our club is a non-profit organization organized in 1968 and is one of the oldest garden clubs in the Phoenix area. Our members include both men and women in all skill levels, from Master Gardeners, landscape professionals, self-taught enthusiasts and many who are very new to gardening and ready to learn.
We welcome as members all persons in the gardening community
We find gardening activities which help others to be the most satisfying and rewarding activities.  We are always seeking new projects .  In 2005-06 we refurbished and replanted the garden at the Veteran’s Hospital Care Center.  We also supplied a classroom at Cactus Wren Elementary School with plants and tools; then supervised the students in planting a variety of vegetables.  In previous years we have conducted gardening projects at Ronald McDonald House and Hope House, among others.
